Meet Cotton's wife, Mi-yeon!

18-May-2014 marks a different phase for Cotton, myself and Uncle Hubby.

Welcome Mi-yeon (Mi-yon) who is previously known as Gambi from HRSS which we first met at the recent HRSS adoption drive to our house. Their first meeting has went well so far. Their body languages are encouraging and positive as well. Look at the pictures for more clues.

After 1.5hrs of their first meet-up

Look how they rubbed their noses together lovely

Somewhere after 3-4hrs later, they decided they needed some privacy

Cotton did the first humping on Myeon who did not retaliate at first, afterall, Mi-yeon is still not settled at our house. Mi-yeon, as I was told by her foster parents, is also pretty dominant in her personality with spoilt princess character - she does not like to beg for her food. She is also quite a fussy eater such that she eats only APD gold hays. A little history about Mi-yeon was that she was found at the road next to a Mosque, hence was named as Gambi (the Road). I have no idea which language does the word "Gambi" derived from. Anyway, the joke was that she is a Muslim and Cotton got a Muslim bun-wife.

Cotton seems to like Mi-yeon because I caught him cleaning Mi-yeon several times. I only saw Mi-yeon cleaning Cotton 1-2x briefly only. We also been sending to HRSS some Live! updates on their interaction and they too are excited about it. M-yeon is still pretty "keep to herself" now - it's her first day and not even night yet, so it is pretty understanding for her inactiveness.

After bonding them at the neutral ground from 10:30am to 5pm, I decided it is enough for their first day and put them back to their own playpen. This is because sometimes they might be 'stressed' to eat and drink sufficiently despite providing them some food and water at the neutral ground bonding session. When they were at their own playpen, both of them nose-nose each other at the separator fence and because of the positive signs at the earlier bonding session between them, I placed Mi-yeon into Cotton's playpen. They did humping a few times but after exhausted, they rested side by side to each other. It's really encouraging!

Mi-yeon's litter box habit is also quite unstable on her first day - she peed outside of the litter box and randomly on the floor and poops randomly too. We are more concerned on her peeing behaviour than poops. When I placed her in her playpen, she does not eat in her litter box so I have to place her in her litter box whenever she eats. She does not seems to like the correction and did not eat after I corrected her and she hopped out of the box and rested on the floor. Seems that I will need to spend some time with Mi-yeon on how to 'behave' in our family. Hope she can also observe how Cotton behaves as well.

........After a while, hunger gets better of Mi-yeon's pride and she hops into her litter box and eats! Hooray! I also gave her a pat on her head to indicate "Good Gal".

She finally hops into the litter box to eat

Introducing some fresh vegetables on her first night
I gave both of them: Carrot tops, Celery, Chinese Parsley, Blueberries, Dills, Endives, Carrots and Romaine lettuces.
